Protein Skimmers

Hi,
I need protein skimming options for my 4ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft marine tank...
The problem is that i am trying to avoid a sump due to space constraint (the tank is in my bedroom) and am looking for viable options for in tank skimmers or hang on....
The problem with a hang on is that It will require me to modify the pianotop hood on top of the tank....That is not a very good idea since the hood houses all my lighting equipment (2 T5's and 2 actinics)

I was actually thinking of making a new hood with more height (maybe 1ft) so i can possibly fit a Weipro 2016 into the tank...

Does anyone know any good models of skimmers that could possibly solve my problem...?

Any other suggestions are also welcome....

Azoo, azoo, azoo with a Boyu powerhead. dont even bother with any other brands especially weipro.
