The Discus Fish (Symphysodon aquefasciatus) is one of the most celebrated ornamental fishes today. The discus is essentially a “ROUND DISC- SHAPED” fish whose natural habitat is the Amazon basin of South America.

I had a great experience in kolkotta sunday market. It was around 1/2 an hour journey from he place where I lived. A shrine for pet lovers. The market starts very early and by 1400 hrs it gets over. The starting section is full of birds, cats and dogs. The birds were of good quality while other stuff were of inferior varitey. Then comes our temple of fishes and road stalls. The variety of stuff matters out here is awesome. I myself was so much tempted to buy the shrimps in the below pics, but I had some more days to pass before coming back to mumbai. The plants variety was also good.
